Note: A practicall catechisme is a seventeenth century printing of the catechisms of Henry Hammond, chaplin to King Charles I of England. Hammond was one of the leading members of the English clergy berfore and during the English Civil War, and helped in no small part to shape the religiosity of the Anglican Church under Charles I. Hammond's religious views were in line with Charles's and his work holds the high church stance.
